World History is divided into four distinct periods: Ancient, Medieval, Early Modern and Modern. Each of these periods is the focus of study for one academic year; the four year cycle is repeated, allowing students to delve more and more deeply into the material.
In the course of examining history, students are introduced to a broad array of governments, social structures, technologies, scientific discoveries, literary traditions and artistic and architectural expressions.
