Orthodox Studies
Orthodoxy has historically been transmitted primarily through its practice (Orthopraxis). Orthodox life consists of daily prayers, services and readings from the Scriptures and lives of the saints, almsgiving and service to neighbors, family, parish and community. As we go about our studies, we seek to maintain an atmosphere of peaceful sobriety in the presence of the holy icons.

The significance of the Scriptures and the feasts of the Church is explored each day through the writings of the Fathers and Saints. Instruction in the Sacred History of the Old and New Testaments, Church History, Liturgics, Hymnography and Church Slavonic is also integrated throughout the year.
